Lambs!

We’ve finally got plenty of lambs on the ground! Not enough just yet (we like a barn full ☺) but several ewes have given us twins, big singles and even a set of triplets! The weather in TN has been crazy this winter with chilly days and then warm summer like weather that makes us get spring fever. But the lambs and ewes seem to be handling it in stride. Here are a few pictures from the lambing barn where we can be found more often than not!

The late nights and early mornings are all worth it when lambs finally arrive. Yes raising sheep is hard work, yes it can be expensive, yes lambs die and ewes die as well. That’s part of life no matter what, but at the end of the day it’s something we love to do and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Thank you for reading our posts and have a wonderful week! Whether it’s work, school, or raising livestock/babies/crops give it 110%!
